Presenter: Sara Conrad earned her B.S. and M.S. in Special Education at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. After graduating, she worked with children with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities in the home setting before starting her career as a special educator with Knox County Schools. She served as lead teacher and was awarded Ridgedale’s Teacher of the Year before making the difficult decision to leave the classroom and begin her career in disability services at her alma matter in 2019. Sara loves working with college students with disabilities and is passionate about ensuring all students have equitable access to higher education.
