This webcast will cover the most important benefit issues for transition aged youth. The audience will learn about the different types of Social Security disability benefits, and how those benefits are affected by work activity. Attendees will leave with a general understanding of how benefits may be impacted when entering the workforce.

Hope Johnson is the Program Manager for the Benefits to Work Program at Empower TN. She has been providing disability benefits planning as a Community Work Incentives Coordinator for the past 19 years. Ms. Johnson helps people utilize the special work incentives available through Social Security’s SSI and SSDI benefit programs, in order for people to make good informed decisions about returning to work.
