New Lesson: Labor Markets and Types of Employment

As students explore employment options, it is important for them to understand the labor market and options for employment. This lesson provides opportunities for students to learn about navigating labor market information while learning about the similarities and differences between full-time and part-time jobs.

As students explore postsecondary education options, it is important for them to understand how college or training programs can lead them to achieve their career goals. This lesson provides opportunities for students to explore career pathways and determine what college or training programs can help them to get the education they will need for their desired career.

  • After completing this lesson, students will be able to explain how goals and career pathways impact their decision about what type of college or training program to attend after high school.
