It is important to give yourself plenty of time to start planning and preparing to continue your education. When exploring college or training options, it is important to consider admission requirements, tuition and other costs, academic programs offered, and the types of supports that are available for students. Exploring and gathering information about your options early can help you to prepare, plan, and make an informed decision about what college or training program is right for you.

Choose five questions you have about preparing for a college or training program. Then, interview a current or former student or staff member from a specific school you are interested in attending and ask them your questions and record their answers.

- Choose five questions from this list that interest you or write your own questions that you want answered
- Contact a current or former student or staff member from the school and set up a meeting virtually or on the phone
- You may also complete this activity by attending a tour of the college
- Answer the reflection questions as you think about the answers to your questions and your experience completing the interview
