Description:
Transition should not be a service added to the end of a student’s high school career. Transition training should begin at a young age and be an ongoing opportunity for students to learn and practice responsibility and self-knowledge. Too often students are taught dependence, passivity, and reliance on unseen forces to take care of them. No one has a greater stake in the outcome of transition planning than the student!
This webcast provides valuable, free resources for educators and families of students with disabilities to assist in the transition process.
