SDTP uses the Student-Directed Summary of Performance as a means for students to learn, organize and present transition information. Teachers deliver the lessons using PowerPoint files and a detailed Teacher’s Guide provides step-by-step instructional suggestions. Students can complete these activities on-line, and the results will automatically transfer to their Summary of Performance Script. Students can take the Summary of Performance Script to their IEP meetings to facilitate transition discussions and decision-making. Student knowledge gains can be measured using pre/post exams available in true/false or multiple choice formats.
