Instructions
Participating in different experiences at a college or training program will help you learn more about them. These experiences will help you with making your decision about continuing your education to reach your career goals.
- Download or print the Graphic Organizer Activity form
- Read the directions
- Review the example Venn Diagram that compares talking with a college student and a college instructor
- Use the word bank to find the similarities and differences between what students will learn at an information session and a college tour

Instructions
Scheduling to attend experiences takes time and practice. For this activity, you will identify three college or training programs you want to tour. Then, you will gather the information you need so you can schedule the tour.
- Download or print the Scheduling a College or Training Program Tour form
- Identify the information you will need to set up a tour and record on the form
- Identify 3 college or training programs you would like to visit
- Visit each college or training program’s website to determine how you schedule a tour
- Record the information you find on the form
- Answer the reflection questions
